How appropriate that, on the National Day of Prayer, the NC Senate passed the bill to end abortions (with a few exceptions) after 12 weeks! Here is a good article that explains the details, including funding to assist mothers and babies during unplanned pregnancies. The Governor is expected to veto but Republicans should have the support to override his veto.

The North Carolina House and Senate have passed a new bill that will limit abortions after 12 weeks of fetal development. The bill contains exceptions for rape and incest up until 20 weeks of pregnancy, fetal abnormalities up until 24 weeks, and the life of the mother all the way through pregnancy. The legislation passed
